Legislative Action Committees

CAI's Legislative Action Committees (LAC) are the largest community association advocacy organization in the United States. The LACs are pro-active in introducing and advocating for legislation that is beneficial to community associations and are equally active in opposing legislation that may have an adverse impact on the interests of community associations.

Interested in finding out how to become a Delegate on a CAI LAC? Click this link for the Delegate Nomination Form. The deadline to submit a nomination form is July 1 of each even numbered year.  LAC Delegates serve a two year term and each LAC must be balanced in terms of membership types. Please also review and submit CAI's LAC Conflict of Interest policy.

CAI's LACs depend on contributions from members like you.
