CAI Announces Manager Scholarship Program

Nov 12, 2015

CAI is excited to announce our new Manager Designation Scholarship Program (MDSP). Created by the chapter Managers Committee, the Scholarship Program is designed to assist community association managers in the Pennsylvania & Delaware Valley Chapter with the ability to meet their educational and professional development goals.

Scholarships in the amount of $250 will be awarded to manager applicants who are interested in registering to take a 200 level or higher course within CAI's Professional Management Development Program.  Recipients of the scholarship must be members of the chapter, must have achieved the CMCA Certification, and must register for a PMDP course that is held within the chapter in the calendar year that the scholarship is awarded. For 2016, tentatively, the chapter is hosting the M320: High Rise Maintenance & Management in November and the M203: Community Leadership class in June. In addition, for the 2016 scholarship, recipients may attend any 200 level course taken online during the calendar year. Additional restrictions apply. Interested managers should review the eligibility guidelines and application process. The application deadline has been extended to May 1, 2016.

Scholarships are available to managers who work for management companies that do not reimburse any amount of the registration fee to attend PMDP programs.

The scholarship program is being funded by sponsorships donated by business partners and management companies. If your organization would like to fund a scholarship, please see the sponsor flyer or contact the office at (610) 783-1315.
