CAI’s Biggest Expo Ever is Headed Your Way in 2015. Don’t Miss the Train!

Don’t miss the train!

CAI is on the right track and you can be too if you attend CAI’s 2015 Annual Conference & Expo on Thursday, May 14, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. “On the Right Track” is the region’s largest event of its kind. And, our 2015 show is shaping up to be the biggest expo CAI has ever had.

The Annual Conference & Expo Committee has been working hard to plan an event you’ll be talking about for the rest of the year, and beyond. Each year, the Annual Conference & Expo Committee promises that the event will be bigger and better than the previous year and, each year, the committee delivers on that promise. The 2015 show will be no different.

As of mid-February, 116 exhibitor booths have already     been sold of the 141 available spaces. This record
number of sold booths is already more exhibitors
than Citizens Bank Park could hold! Get ready for CAI’s biggest and best show yet!

After five hugely successful conferences at Citizens Bank Park, CAI is moving the show to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The larger venue can accommodate CAI’s growing needs in terms of space and logistics and promises to deliver another terrific event for exhibitors and attendees alike. The Annual Conference & Expo continues to grow, becoming a larger event, setting new records in attendance and exhibitor participation, and has truly become CAI’s hallmark event.

Featuring 116 exhibitors (and counting) — ranging from attorneys and accountants to painters and power washers, from engineers and elevator maintenance companies to roofing contractors and restoration services—if there is a product or service that the community or condo association you manage, govern, or reside in needs, you can be sure to find them here. Nowhere else can you find so many industry specialists in the same room.

An always important component of the Annual Conference & Expo is the myriad educational programs featuring session speakers who are experts in their fields. The 2015 Expo is no exception and attendees will be able to choose between four exceptional education sessions.

During Breakout Session I (from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.), attendees can choose between “The FHA Approval Process: The State of Affairs”, presented by Eric Boucher with ReadySetLoan or our session geared specifically for our members who serve on their association’s board of directors, “Board Member Boot Camp I: Choose Your Own Reserve Adventure” from DMA’s Douglas Greene.

Breakout Session II (from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.), features hot-button issue, “Sticks & Stones: Dealing with Defamation in a Community Association” from Steven L. Sugarman, Esq. of Steven L. Sugarman & Associates and “Board Member Boot Camp II: Ethics and Confidentiality for Board Members” presented by Hill Wallack, LLP’s Jonathan Katz, Esq. Managers working to obtain or maintain their designations will receive one hour of continuing education credit for each session they attend (for a maximum of two credits).

For more detail about these education programs and the speakers, look for the Annual Conference & Expo Brochure that should be arriving in the mail sometime in late March or visit the Annual Conference & Expo page at:

Thanks to the strong support of sponsors and exhibitors, CAI’s trade show continues to be free for CAI members and non-members (non-member, non-exhibiting business partners are charged an admission fee). Lunch, served in the center of the exposition hall, continues to be free as well. Be sure to visit all of the participants in this year’s Mystery Booth contest for your chance to win cash. CAI will be announcing winners at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Many exhibitors will also be giving out fantastic door prizes! Even the After Party is free to all attendees. This year’s After Party will be held in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, overlooking the historic Reading Headhouse, the former home and hub of the famous Reading Railroad and home to the oldest and largest extant single-span arched-roof complex in the world and last in the United States.

The Pennsylvania Convention Center is easy to get to—whether by car or rail. CAI recommends taking SEPTA’s regional rail system to Jefferson Station (formerly Market East Station). The Convention Center entrance and expo hall are just a few flights of stairs away. Or, you can park at the Parkway Corporation garage at 12th and Filbert Streets, above Maggiano’s Restaurant. Bring your parking ticket with you to attendee registration and ask for a parking discount coupon to save 20% off posted rates. Your rate will be approximately $23 for 12 hours of parking. CAI is also offering a $10 gift card to the first 150 attendees to show their SEPTA ticket or parking receipt at the attendee registration desk.
