New Leadership Announced for Community Associations Institute

Officers Elected at December Annual Meeting

 

King of Prussia, PA:  The Pennsylvania and Delaware Valley Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI) is under new leadership with the elections of executive committee members who took office as of January 1, 2015. The new officers were elected by the Board of Directors at the 2014 Annual Meeting & Holiday Party held last month.

Serving as chapter President in 2015 is Kevin G. McGrath, PCAM, President of Benjamin Cobrin & Company Realtors, a management company in Narberth, PA that managers nearly 70 condominium and homeowner associations throughout the Delaware Valley. Kevin has been with the company since 1981, serving as community manager, Executive Vice President, and President of the company since 1996. Kevin has been an active volunteer with CAI since 1996 during his first stint on the board of directors, serving until 2002 and as Chapter Vice President in 2000.He has also served as Membership Chair, Governmental Affairs Chair and as a member of the chapter’s Philadelphia Regional Council. Kevin re-joined the board in 2010.  During this time, Kevin has also served as an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Condominium Managers Association, including serving as president of that organization from 1997 to 1998. Kevin is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. Kevin earned the Professional Community Association Manager credential from CAI in 1992.

Mitch Frumkin, PE, RS, CGP, will serve as CAI’s 2015 President-elect. Mitch is the founder of Kipcon, Inc., an engineering firm in North Brunswick, NJ. Mitch is a frequent lecturer and author on community association topics and served as national president of Community Associations Institute in 2001.
