CAI announces CBS 3’s Pat Ciarrocchi as Conference Keynote speaker at April 24 Event

Annual Event will be attended by hundreds of homeowners, elected volunteer leaders and managers of condominium and homeowner associations from the tri state area

King of Prussia, PA.: CAI is pleased to announce that award winning news anchor Pat Ciarrocchi, co-host of CBS 3's Talk Philly, will deliver the keynote address at "Broad Street Strut" - our 2014 Annual Conference & Expo which will take place at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday, April 24, 2014. The annual event features 117 exhibitors, four educational sessions on topics important to condo and homeowner association managers and board members, the keynote address and the announcement of CAI’s Gold Star Community awards. The event opens at 8:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM, followed by an after party at XfinityLive!. The show has a Mummers theme as this will be the last Expo held at Citizens Bank Park. Future events will move up Broad Street to the Pennsylvania Convention Center.


In addition to anchoring and reporting news for CBS 3, Pat Ciarrocchi is co-host with Ukee Washington of Talk Philly, CBS 3's Emmy Award-winning news and lifestyle program. Ciarrocchi joined Channel 3 in 1982. Prior to her current assignment, she set the pace for morning news in Philadelphia as the station's early morning news anchor. Ciarrocchi has excelled in a variety of assignments at Channel 3 from Evening Magazine, which she co-hosted from 1991 to 1992, traveling to Great Britain and Israel for special reports. She also served as the station's medical reporter for five years, and has done some of her most memorable work at the Vatican where she reported live at the canonization of St. Katherine Drexel in 2000 and at the funeral of Pope John Paul II in 2005. She covered the visit to the Vatican last month by Governor Tom Corbett and Mayor Michael Nutter. Ciarrocchi's work has earned her multiple Philadelphia Emmy Awards, including recognition for individual achievement in News Writing. She has won the nationally prestigious Gabriel Award from Catholic Academy of Communications Arts, a CEBA Award recognizing communications excellence to Black audiences and a Sarah Award from Women in Communications locally. In 2000, she was inducted into the Philadelphia Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in recognition of her accomplishments in the television industry.


CAI’s Annual Conference & Expo is an annual event attended by hundreds of homeowners, elected volunteer leaders and managers of condominium and homeowner associations throughout Pennsylvania and South Jersey. It is estimated there are more than 10,000 such associations in Pennsylvania alone that house more than one third of the state’s population.
