Back to School: Fall Education is Plentiful at CAI

Sep 30, 2013

Now that the kids have gone back to school, the time for adults to follow suit has arrived! CAI has an education catalog for the Fall semester that has something for everyone - managers and homeowners, from Philadelphia to Harrisburg. Click the links below for full details and to register online.

For Managers, CAI has two upcoming manager education classes, one in October focusing on Disaster Preparation and the other on Manager Ethics in November. Both classes will be held at Plymouth Country Club in Plymouth Meeting and earn you three hours of continuing education credit that can be used to meet the continuing education requirements for the CMCA, AMS and PCAM.

For homeowners who may have just been elected to your association board, CAI's Essentials of Community Association Volunteer Leadership is the one training session you'll need to be fully oriented on the job of community association board member. A very limited number of seats are available for our next class in November. Register early so you don't miss out! This class will not be offered again until March.

In addition to the above programs, CAI is taking our Legal & Legislative Update on the road for a series of programs across the state this Fall. The session, along with a mini trade show, will be offered in the following locations:

Harrisburg - October 9.

Mt. Pocono - October 23.

Pittsburgh - November 14.

The On the Road programs are free to attend, so don't miss out!

Finally, the 2nd Annual Philadelphia Condo Congress has a series of breakout sessions and speakers on sustainability topics, as well as a special session on Philadelphia's property tax reform, known as the Actual Value Initiative, at which Councilman Jim Kenney will speak. In addition, our Philadelphia Council will present the first Annual High Rise Mini Conference at the Union League in November.

Its back to school time at CAI...don't forget to bring an apple for the teacher!
